   薪資 Salary   

Q、 薪資費用 How much is the TA salary?
A、

薪資依照學制計薪,按月發放。
【學士】5,000元/月;【碩士】6,000元/月;【博士】8,000元/月。

TA salaries are paid on a monthly basis according to academic level.

  • Bachelor's student: NT$5,000/month
  • Master's student: NT$6,000/month
  • Doctoral student: NT$8,000/month
Q、 薪資給付方式 How is the salary paid?
A、
  • 薪資於「」月15日發放。舉例:1月工作薪資,2月15日學校撥款。
  • 匯款至學生於學校系統留存之「本人」郵局帳戶,不可使用他人帳號。

TA salaries are paid on the 15th of the following month.

For example, salary earned in January will be deposited on February 15.

Payment will be deposited into the student's personal Chunghwa Post (Post Office) account registered in the University's system. Third-party bank accounts are not accepted.

Q、 薪資計算方式 How is my salary calculated?
A、

【實領薪資】=應領薪資-自付勞保費。
【應領薪資】=月薪/當月天數*投保天數。
【自付勞保費】=政府公告之勞保自付額/30天*投保天數。
舉例: 114年政府公告勞保自付額$277元,碩士生月薪=6000元,1月份共31天,聘期自1月1日開始到1月10日(共計10天)。
薪水=6000元/31天*10天=1935元, 勞保自負額=277元/30天*10天=92元,則
【實領薪資】=1935-92=($)1843元。

Net Salary = Gross Salary − Employee Labor Insurance Premium

Gross Salary = Monthly Salary ÷ Number of Days in the Month × Number of Insured Days
Employee Labor Insurance Premium = Government-announced Employee Premium ÷ 30 × Number of Insured Days

Example: In 2025, the government-announced employee labor insurance premium is NT$277.
A master's student earns NT$6,000/month and is employed from January 1 to January 10 (10 insured days). January has 31 days.

Gross Salary = 6,000 ÷ 31 × 10 = NT$1,935
Employee Labor Insurance Premium = 277 ÷ 30 × 10 = NT$92
Net Salary = 1,935 − 92 = NT$1,843

Q、 同一門課程,有兩位(以上)TA薪資計算方式 How is the salary calculated if a course has two or more TAs?
A、

一門課程同時聘任兩位TA,薪資將分別除以2
舉例:兩位TA,一位學士與一位碩士,則薪資=學士月薪除以2,碩士月薪除以2。三位TA就除以3。

If multiple TAs are assigned to the same course, the salary allocated to that course will be divided equally among the TAs.

Example:
If one course has one bachelor's TA and one master's TA:

Bachelor's TA salary = Bachelor's monthly salary ÷ 2
Master's TA salary = Master's monthly salary ÷ 2

If there are three TAs, each salary will be divided by three.

 

   投保、聘任 Insurance & Appointment  

Q、 TA投保說明 Why do TAs need labor insurance?
A、
  • 依政府法規,學生在校有提供勞務獲取報酬之工作事實,並具從屬關係者,屬勞動契約關係,必須要投保。
  • 具有公、農、軍保身分者,須盡快告知教學資源中心承辦人,避免重複投保。
  • 學生於校內多個單位工讀,每個單位皆須投保勞保,但薪資不會重複扣款。
    TA於校外另有工作,則兩家公司皆須分別投保勞保,薪資分別扣除勞保自付額。

According to Taiwan labor regulations, students who provide services in exchange for compensation under an employment relationship must be enrolled in Labor Insurance.

Students covered by Government Employee Insurance, Farmers' Insurance, or Military Insurance should notify the Teaching and Learning Resources Center (TLRC) immediately to avoid duplicate enrollment.
If you work in multiple on-campus positions, each department must enroll you separately in Labor Insurance; however, the insurance premium will not be deducted multiple times.
If you also have an off-campus job, both employers are legally required to enroll you in Labor Insurance, and the employee premium will be deducted separately from each salary.

Q、 外籍生投保說明 What should international students know about Labor Insurance?
A、
  • 外籍生依規定在投保前,須請提供最新效期的工作許可證與居留證,完成投保後方可開始工作與計薪。
  • 外籍生投保將強制由學校代扣18%所得稅

Before enrollment in Labor Insurance, international students must provide:

  1. A valid Work Permit
  2. A valid Alien Resident Certificate (ARC)

You may begin working and receiving salary only after the insurance enrollment has been completed.

In accordance with Taiwanese tax regulations, the University will withhold 18% income tax from international students' salaries.

Q、 當學期即將畢業,還可以繼續TA工作嗎? I am graduating this semester. Can I continue working as a TA?
A、
  • 原則上,TA聘任期間統一至第十八週最後一天。如不急於領取畢業證書(辦離校手續),可於學期結束(聘期結束)後再辦理離校。
  • 如需提前領取畢業證書,請於「當月20日前」通知教資中心承辦人,以利辦理停保程序。

In principle, TA appointments continue until the last day of Week 18.

If you do not need to receive your diploma immediately, you may complete the University's graduation clearance procedures after your TA appointment ends.

If you need to graduate earlier, please notify the TLRC before the 20th of the month so that your Labor Insurance can be terminated accordingly.

Q、 帶領的班級為畢業班,5月課程結束後,6月仍需投保嗎? My course is for graduating students and ends in May. Do I still need Labor Insurance in June?
A、
  • 原則上,TA 聘任期間統一至第十八週最後一天止。
  • 若確認畢業班課程結束後已無 TA 工作事項,請提前 7 天通知教資中心承辦人辦理停保程序,以避免無工作期間仍持續投保,產生的額外保費需由TA自行負擔。

TA appointments normally continue until the last day of Week 18.

If all TA duties have been completed after the course ends, please notify the TLRC at least seven days in advance to terminate your Labor Insurance.

Otherwise, you may remain insured during a period with no work duties, and any additional insurance premiums incurred will be your responsibility.

Q、 學期間若需停止擔任 TA(如課程取消、更換 TA、休學、離校等),需要通知教資中心嗎? Do I need to notify the TLRC if I stop working as a TA during the semester (e.g., course cancellation, replacement, leave of absence, or graduation)?
A、

如於學期間發生停止擔任 TA 職務之情形,請提前 7 天通知教資中心承辦人,以利辦理停保程序,避免持續投保而產生的額外保費需由TA自行負擔。

Yes.

Please notify the Teaching and Learning Resources Center at least seven days in advance so that your Labor Insurance can be terminated promptly. Otherwise, you may be responsible for additional insurance premiums.

Q、 出勤紀錄表繳交方式  How do I submit my monthly attendance record?
A
  • 自114-1學期開始,TA出勤紀錄表需於 「每月23日」 完成填寫出勤紀錄表並送出。
    遲交者將取消申請教學助理證書資格。
  • 填報方式:東吳大學校務資訊系統
  • 填報流程:請參閱TronClass。
  • 一門課程有2位以上TA需要各自上系統填報
  • 當月工作都已安排完成,在月初或月中時就可以預先在系統上將當月時數都填好,然後23日前提交送出當月的出勤紀錄表。
    提醒:請勿將 24~30 日之時數累積至下個月填報,請落實「當月工作當月畢」。

Starting from the 2025–2026 Academic Year, First Semester, all TAs must submit their attendance records by the 23rd of each month through the University's information system.

Late submission will result in loss of eligibility for the TA Certificate.

Submission System: Soochow University Information System
Instructions: Available on TronClass
Each TA must submit their own attendance record, even if multiple TAs are assigned to the same course.
If your work schedule has already been arranged, you may complete and submit your attendance record before the 23rd.
Please do not carry over hours from the 24th–30th (or 31st) into the following month's record. Attendance should be completed within the corresponding month.

Q、 工作時數填報 How should I report my working hours?
A、
  • 請依實際工作狀況填寫內容。
    提醒:完整月份的工時若僅填寫2、3小時,教育部抽查時覺得有疑問時,有可能會"邀請來喝茶聊天"喔!
  • 每月工作時數以20小時為上限。
    提醒:「非完整」月份的時數請依聘期天數之比例減少!
  • 出勤紀錄表填寫時數之多寡不會影響月薪領取金額

Please record your actual working hours.

The maximum workload is generally 20 hours per month.
For partial months, the maximum allowable hours will be reduced proportionally.

The number of hours reported does not affect your monthly salary. 

Q、 時數填錯已經送出怎麼辦 I submitted incorrect working hours. What should I do?

Q、 畢業班5月結束課程後,6月不會再有 TA 工作事項,仍需繳交出勤紀錄表嗎? My graduating class finishes in May, and I will not have any TA duties in June. Do I still need to submit an attendance record?
A、
  • 原則上,TA 聘任期間統一至第18週最後一天止。
  • 若與授課教師討論並確認6月不會再有 TA 工作事項,請於畢業班5月結束前通知教資中心承辦人辦理停保程序,以避免6月無工作期間仍持續投保,產生的額外保費則需由TA自行負擔。

TA appointments normally continue until the last day of Week 18.

If both you and your instructor confirm that no TA duties remain after May, please notify the Teaching and Learning Resources Center before the course ends so that your Labor Insurance can be terminated.

Otherwise, you may be responsible for additional Labor Insurance premiums for June.

Q、 期末發表會無法到場,如何請假? I cannot attend the Final TA Presentation. How do I apply for leave?
A、
  • 請假申請表請於TronClass下載。
  • 填寫請假申請表,並請教師親筆簽名含簽名日期(不得使用電腦打字)後,「掃描」或「拍照」上傳至TronClass(文件需清晰可識別)。
  • 教資中心確認檔案無誤後,在TronClass上批改回復"OK",表示成功完成請假手續。
  • 請假申請表收件截止日:期末發表會隔日

Download the Leave Application Form from TronClass.

After completing the form, obtain your instructor's handwritten signature (typed signatures are not accepted), then upload a scanned copy or clear photograph to TronClass.

Once the Teaching and Learning Resources Center verifies the document, your submission will be marked "OK" in TronClass.

The deadline is the day after the Final TA Presentation.

Q、 不會再與授課教師碰面,無法取得紙本請假單簽名,該如何辦理? I can no longer meet my instructor in person to obtain a handwritten signature. What should I do?
A、
  • 如無法提供紙本請假單,可將電子檔提供予授課教師,由教師以電子簽名方式完成簽署後,再重新上傳至 TronClass。
  • 教資中心確認檔案無誤後,在TronClass上批改回復"OK",表示成功完成請假手續。
  • 請假申請表收件截止日:期末發表會翌日

You may send the electronic leave application to your instructor for an electronic signature before uploading it to TronClass.

Q、 授課教師無法使用電子簽名,該如何處理? My instructor cannot provide an electronic signature. What should I do?
A、
  • 授課教師可於請假單截圖或圖片檔上,使用手機或其他設備手寫簽名後回傳。
    只要能清楚辨識教師已知悉並同意請假,即可作為申請文件。
  • 教資中心確認檔案無誤後,在TronClass上批改回復"OK",表示成功完成請假手續。
  • 請假申請表收件截止日:期末發表會翌日

Your instructor may sign a screenshot or image of the leave application by hand using a mobile device or other electronic device and send it back to you.

As long as the instructor's approval is clearly identifiable, it will be accepted.

Q、 不小心錯過(忘記)請假截止日,是否可以補交? I missed the leave application deadline. Can I submit it afterward?
A、

為考量整體作業一致性與公平性,請假申請於截止後將不再受理補件,敬請見諒。

To ensure fairness and consistency, late leave applications will not be accepted after the deadline.

 

   培訓講座活動 Training Workshops   

Q、 以前參加過TA培訓本學期還要再參加嗎? I attended TA training before. Do I need to attend again this semester?
A、
  • 是,TA綜合表現需要每學期重新記錄、計算。
  • TA期中培訓活動需達成「簽到」、「全程參與」、「活動問卷」三項缺一不可,使得採計期中培訓。
  • 參加「不是」本中心舉辦之講座、活動、工作坊者,須於規定期限前上傳心得報告至TronClass。
    心得報告格式請至TronClass下載。

Yes. TA performance is evaluated separately each semester.

To complete the Mid-semester Training requirement, you must: Sign in, Attend the entire session, and Complete the activity survey

If you attend a workshop organized by another department or institution instead of the Teaching and Learning Resources Center, you must upload a reflection report to TronClass before the deadline.

Q、 一般課程TA培訓工作坊,EMI TA可以參加並認列期中培訓紀錄嗎? Can EMI TAs receive Mid-semester Training credit by attending a General TA workshop?
A、

教資中心辦理之一般TA培訓講座,EMI TA若對該主題有興趣歡迎報名參加,但不採計期中培訓。

EMI TAs are welcome to attend General TA workshops, but these workshops do not count toward the EMI Mid-semester Training requirement.

Q、 EMI TA培訓工作坊,一般課程TA可以參加並認列期中培訓紀錄嗎? Can General TAs receive Mid-semester Training credit by attending an EMI TA workshop?
A、

教資中心辦理之EMI TA培訓工作坊,除EMI TA需報名參加外,若一般課程TA對該主題有興趣亦可報名,可採計期中培訓。

Yes. General TAs are welcome to attend EMI TA workshops, and participation will count toward the Mid-semester Training requirement.

Q、 教資中心辦理的培訓時間無法參加怎麼辦? What if I cannot attend the training workshop organized by the Teaching and Learning Resources Center?
A、
  • 可選擇校內其他單位或其他學校所辦理,您覺得能增進TA課程專業或是TA職能的活動講座,並須於規定期限上傳心得報告(請含照片佐證)至TronClsss。
  • 心得報告格式請至TronClass下載。

You may attend a workshop offered by another university or another unit within Soochow University that helps improve your teaching or TA-related skills.

Please upload a reflection report with supporting photos to TronClass before the deadline.

Q、 不小心錯過(忘記)期中培訓心得繳交截止日,是否可以補繳? I missed the reflection report deadline. Can I submit it late?
A、
  • 期中培訓心得於截止後,如需補件請於TronClass期中培訓心得補繳區上傳檔案。
    會將您的任務完成狀況表登記為「補繳」。(有「補繳」、「遲交」、「未完成」紀錄者,無法領取隨堂教學助理證書)
  • 若再次錯過補繳截止日,將不再受理補件,敬請見諒。

   問卷、報告 Surveys & Final Report   

Q、 隨堂教學助理成效問卷(簡稱:三方問卷)可以不做嗎? Is it mandatory to complete the TA Effectiveness Survey (Three-party Survey)?
A、

不可以。成效問卷請務必在規定期限內完成,一定要做,且一定要在時間內做完,否則不只影響老師(課程補助、學院名額),也會影響到自己(領取證書)。

All required surveys must be completed before the deadline.

Q、 如何提高學生問卷作答率? How can I improve the student survey response rate?

根據過往優良TA的回饋,建議您可以跟老師協調一個適當的時間,在實體課堂上學生出席率比較高時,請同學當場做問卷,效果會比丟連結請學生有空時去做來的好。

Based on feedback from Outstanding TAs, the most effective approach is to coordinate with your instructor and ask students to complete the survey during class when attendance is highest.

Q、 成果報告撰寫方式與重點 What should be included in the Final Report?
A、

請回顧檢視一下自己這學期做了什麼事情、著重敘述您提供課程什麼樣的幫助,對老師或學生有什麼的影響。可提供課後輔導紀錄或自製教材與講義等。

Reflect on your work throughout the semester.

Describe:

Your contributions to the course
How you supported the instructor and students
Your impact on teaching and learning

You may also include tutoring records, self-developed teaching materials, or handouts.

Q、 成果報告格式 What is the required format for the Final Report?

  • 制式表格請至TronClass下載。
  • 制式表格+成果附件=15頁。(超過頁數的部分,教資中心會直接刪除)
  • 檔按格式:PDF檔案
  • 須於規定期限前上傳心得報告至TronClass。
    小提醒,如果一門課程有2位TA,每一位皆需繳交成果報告。
  • 記得檢核上傳文件之正確性,若因上傳文件有誤不予採計,不得異議。

「準時」且完成以下所有事項的TA即符合申請教學助理證書資格。(有「補繳」、「遲交」、「未完成」紀錄者,無法領取隨堂教學助理證書)

  1. 每月23日繳交出勤紀錄表
  2. 繳交成果報告
  3. 參加TA期初說明會
  4. 完成期中培訓
  5. 參加期末成果發表會
  6. 完成三方問卷

To be eligible, you must complete all required tasks on time.

TAs with any record of Late Submission, Late, or Incomplete are not eligible.

Required tasks:

Submit monthly attendance records by the 23rd of each month
Submit the Final Report
Attend the TA Orientation
Complete Mid-semester Training
Attend the Final TA Presentation
Complete the Three-party Survey

Q、 領取TA證書方式 How will I receive my TA Certificate?
A、
  • 為響應環保,自115-1學期開始,隨堂教學助理證書改採「電子版」形式發放。
  • 符合領取證書資格者:期末成果發表會3天內發送電子版證書至您的信箱。

Beginning with the 2026–2027 Academic Year, First Semester, TA Certificates will be issued electronically.

Eligible TAs will receive the electronic certificate by email within three days after the Final TA Presentation.

Q、 紙本證書申請與領取方式 How do I apply for a printed certificate?
A、
  • 申請時間:每學期第17週至第18週最後一天。
  • 申請方式:於TronClass填問卷申請。
  • 領取方式:請於「次一學期」結束前至「雙溪校區」教學資源中心辦公室領取。(紙本證書僅保留一學期,逾期未領之證書將予以銷毀)。

Application period: Week 17 through the last day of Week 18

Application method: Submit the application form on TronClass.

Collection: Pick up your certificate at the Teaching and Learning Resources Center, Waishuangsi Campus, before the end of the following semester.

Printed certificates are retained for one semester only and will be destroyed if not collected on time.

Q、 紙本證書申請後能不能在城中領取? Can I pick up my printed certificate at the Downtown Campus?
A、

TA 證書僅提供於雙溪校區領取,因教學資源中心在城中校區並無辦公室,無人能協助保管與發放,故城中校區沒有定點開放領取。
若不便親自前往雙溪校區的TA,建議可先自行尋找院/系上願意代收證書的助教或老師。若確定有人能協助代收,請您:

  1. 寄信至ctl@scu.edu.tw,說明您是誰(姓名、學號、所屬課程),並註明代收證書的院/系與師長姓名
  2. 同時將該封信副本(cc)給代收的師長。
  3. 本中心收到信件後,將於 7日內 透過公文封方式寄送證書至該師長處。

No. Printed certificates are available only at the Waishuangsi Campus, as the Teaching and Learning Resources Center does not have an office at the Downtown Campus.

If you cannot collect it in person, you may authorize a department staff member or instructor to receive it on your behalf.

Name of the department and the person authorized to collect the certificate

Please copy (CC) the authorized recipient in the email.

The certificate will be sent to that person through the University's internal document delivery system within seven days.

Q、 可以補申請以前的證書嗎? Can I apply for a certificate from a previous semester?
A、

不可以。證書核發僅限於當學期依規定完成流程之同學,逾期將不再受理補發。

No. 

TA Certificates are issued only to students who complete all required procedures during the applicable semester. Retroactive applications or reissuance requests are not accepted.
